Hey, my launcher refuses to correctly download the update. I keep getting the "Failed to update: Failed to verify signature!" error followed by the "Failed to update: Patch files already exist!" if I try to run the patcher again. Tried a variety of things including everything stated in the faq but nothing works.
I then tried to manually patch but the 270_to_271.zip update refuses to download past 5.1 MB out of 5.3 MB no matter how many times I tried; attempting it on a different browser doesn't seem to work either. I then tried to download the example, 208_to_209.zip update that was supplied in the walkthrough and it worked with no problems. I followed this by attempting the 269_to_270.zip update and that worked fine as well.
After all of that, I can only guess that your 270_to_271.zip update download has broken for some reason so I'm requesting an alternative download link for that specific update.

Posts: 2147This file has no issues for me and I have verified it's serving correctly at our web server.
There is 2 common reasons this can happen:
1: Your antivirus may not actually be turned off despite you stating it is.
This patch is unique as it contains executable binaries, unlike most other patches.
Antiviruses don't like it, report this to your antivirus company not us.
2: Your ISP is tampering with your connection, try downloading it from a VPN or proxy.
There is 2 common reasons this can happen:
