MabiPro: The Authentic Old-School Mabinogi Experience

After the most recent patch a few days ago, I keep getting an error message that says "You should not execute this binary directly, use the game launcher instead." when I try to start the game.

I don't know why this is happening, since I'm trying to start the game with the "Start Mabinogi Professional" shortcut as I had in the past, which is the closest thing there is to a game launcher. I also tried running the "MabinogiProfessional.exe" file directly which gives the same error, and using "Client.exe" and "Client2.exe" for the sake of trying everything, which did nothing. I also tried reinstalling the game fresh, which also did nothing to help.

Does anyone know why I may be getting this issue? I'm also on Windows 7 if that's important.

It seems like I'm no longer getting this error after the unscheduled maintenance that seems to have happened shortly after this post and recently finished.

I don't know if it was to address this issue specifically or not, but I'm very glad that I can connect now!
