MabiPro: The Authentic Old-School Mabinogi Experience

So I've just downloaded and logged in to MabiPro for the first time. I'm super excited!

I made a character, clicked start game, the loading screen flashed for a moment but I've been stuck on a black screen for quite some time now, longer than even when I boot up live server Mabinogi. The game never loads me into the MabiPro world, no matter how many times I reopen the client. Not sure how to continue forward or what the issue is since there's never an error message & the program seems to be running fine.

Any help with this would be appreciated!
