MabiPro: The Authentic Old-School Mabinogi Experience

In the rules, there's a section on multiple accounts stating '1.3a Server Abuse - [Mutiple Account Creation for the Purpose of Ban Evade or Botting.]'.
I just wanted to ask if it's frowned upon to create multiple accounts to use as storage?

I haven't started out on the server yet, so I'm not quite sure how the 'cash shop' items work yet, or if we're limited in terms of storage. Or if, like on normal mabi, storage is something kept behind a payment wall.

Just thought I'd ask as the rule wasn't clear enough to me.

Thanks for asking. It is frowned upon to create multiple accounts for the sole purpose of storing items. Once you get started on the server, you should have no problems obtaining pets to put items in. We don't have a cash shop or any payment walls.
This rule is undergoing rewrite which will specify that you are not allowed to have over 3 accounts, however this is not in effect yet, but do keep that in mind.

Aah okay. Yeah I probably won't be needing it, I was just thinking for future use, in case one were to run out of character/pet slots.

More inquiry on the future rule change. If anyone already has more than 3 accounts, or does by time the change is put in place, will any of their accounts be at risk? Example, will some of them be removed from the database?

This depends on the circumstances. As you might imagine, we don't typically change things for no reason. For the most part, accounts created before the modification will be exempt, however this is not guaranteed.
