Finding installation directory:
Before you can install the new launcher, you must find the installation directory. This is the directory that you installed the game to.
Shortcuts?
Did you create a shortcut or something for the old launcher?
If so, right click the shortcut and hit "Open File Location".
If you didn't create a shortcut....how are you launching it? Hopefully however you are doing that also has Open File Location. The Start Menu and Task Bar typically also have this option.
Windows Search?
If Windows Explorer search has indexed the location, it should be able to locate
Client.exe quite fast. This should show you where the location of each Mabinogi installation on your system resides, including MabiPro!
Installer's default directory?
Another way to get an idea of where you might have installed it is by using the
installer. If you still have the installer downloaded, that is.
Running the installer and then looking at the directory that it tries to use by default may jog your memory (maybe you just left it at default).
Worst case scenario? Reinstall..?
The worst case scenario is that your installation directory has just vanished from the face of the Earth, and you might aswell just
redownload the latest package and reinstall the game. The latest package (227 installer) has the new launcher included already.
Installing the new launcher:
You simply have to drag & drop the new launcher's .EXE file into the installation directory that we found earlier, then run the new launcher.
You can download the new launcher by clicking
