MabiPro: The Authentic Old-School Mabinogi Experience

Tara Festival Event

This is a general guide to the latest MabiPro event, the Tara Festival. The event takes place just north of Tara's town square. During the event, you will play one of two minigames - either the Hammer minigame or the Dart minigame. The Dart minigame is equivalent to the Dart minigames during the Doki Doki Island event, and both minigames are identical to their Festia equivalents.

Dart Minigame

In the Dart minigame, players take turns throwing darts at points on a board in order to get as close to the target score as possible. There is a slight breeze which alters the location of where your dart lands, the direction of which can be seen underneath the dart board, and is represented by an arrow. In order to obtain a prize, a player must earn more than 100 points, earn an amount of points less than or equal to the target score, and earn more points than every other player (or the same amount of points as the top-scoring player/players). If any player earns more points than the current target score, that player is disqualified. If any players tie for first, all winners receive a prize box.

Not sure about this, but there's a little bit of speculation that if you reach the target score exactly you might get more than one prize box, similar to the hammer minigame Even if you achieve a score that is equal to the target score, you will still only receive one prize box (boooo :'c ).

This minigame is the only way to receive the female variant of the yukata in this event.

The Dart minigame prize box is blue.



Hammer Minigame

In the Hammer minigame, players take turns hitting a lever with a hammer in order to make a star marker reach the highest point on the backboard. To do that, the player has to click when the meter on their cursor is full. I haven't seen any players get the same score in this game as your score can reach up into the 900+'s (assumedly to a maximum of 999 or 1000), but considering that with the dart minigame ties for first place give a prize box to all winners, it's safe to assume that the same can be said of this minigame.

Also, if you manage to score high enough (950+? I haven't played this one much so pls help with estimates) and get first place you will receive 5 prize boxes instead of just one.

This minigame is the only way to receive the male variant of the yukata in this event.

The Hammer minigame prize box is red.

Update: I opened >100 Darts boxes, so most of the stuff there is based on what I've seen. I still don't have much experience with the hammer game (mostly because no one plays it) and would love input from people who have. Thanks!
