Flame Patterned Leather Armor (F) Undyeable?

Recently got my hands on one and tried to dye it using fixed dyes. However, they wouldn't show up on the list of available items to dye. From my understanding, it should be able to be dyed since there is no "(Cannot be dyed)" marker on the description. Also thought that it was odd because I was able to dye it using a regular dye. Seems kinda minor, but wondering if it was a bug of sorts.

Some of the older items only accept regular dyes for some reason, that's just how it is unfortunately
