I've tried doing the manual patch and I followed all the guides, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Any help?

Yes I would consider my connection that, that's what I was thinking the problem was. Would there be a way for you to upload the current patch to google drive or something like that?

If you manually patch, you end up bypassing the launcher entirely, which means you cannot possibly get a launcher error. You should do that (and if you already did, re-read the process and do it properly because it is not possible to get a launcher error when you are bypassing the launcher).
