It seems G13S1 was when the Destiny system was taking its baby steps, however it also seems you need to Rebirth once to trigger the option when you talk to Nao.

Is there a way to let newly-created characters pick a Destiny? Because waiting 2 weeks before we're able to pick one seems like a waste of training potential (2x training from the server rates + 2x from Destiny)

I may be nitpicking but it'd make ranking Life Skills early on a lot easier. Or Windmill, even.

Oh wait, do we not have the Merchant Destiny yet? Welp, that's a shame...
