Hi everyone,

I’m having a strange stuttering issue when playing MabiPro.

My PC is running **Windows 11** with an **Intel Core i5-12600KF**. After playing for a while, the game will occasionally freeze/stutter for about **1 second**, then continue normally.

I read the forum guide and tried setting Mabinogi to run only on the **last two E-cores**. This definitely improves the problem, but I still get occasional minor stutters.

I also noticed that Mabinogi is using **D3D9**, so I’m wondering if the stuttering could be related to the old D3D9 renderer, Windows 11, or the hybrid P-core/E-core CPU architecture.

Has anyone else experienced this on a similar CPU or Windows 11?

Is there any additional setting, patch, compatibility option, or other fix that could completely eliminate these short stutters?

Thanks in advance!

G13 — I accidentally put G16 in the title. Sorry about that!

This is really exciting! I've actually been experiencing quite a bit of stuttering while playing MabiPro G13, and I wonder if the game's underlying engine or compatibility with newer CPUs might have something to do with it. Could the decompilation project eventually help improve performance too?

Projects in the WoW community have shown how much an open-source project can energize an entire game community. If MabiPro's decompilation project could eventually lead to something similar, I'd definitely consider supporting it financially.

Do you think there's any possibility of making the reconstructed source code publicly available in the future, or allowing the community to build and customize their own versions? Imagine people being able to preserve different eras of Mabinogi, fix long-standing bugs, and create their own versions of the game. It could be the beginning of a whole new era for Mabinogi, with the community flourishing in so many different directions!

I'd love to see that happen!
