MabiPro: The Authentic Old-School Mabinogi Experience

Great news everybody! MabiPro is now officially released!

Please take the time to register an account, download the client, and hop in the game to check out our server.
The forums are public now, so do feel free to check them out and post if you have any questions, suggestions, or comments in general.

Registering on the forums will also register you an account for the server, so all you need to get started is to download the client which you can find at the Downloads page, and use your forum credentials to sign in.

Great news everybody! We've finally finished creating our own launcher and patcher for MabiPro.

This is required to update your client from older versions to newer versions, else you won't be able to join the game.

Please look for Primary Launcher on the Downloads page.

If for some reason the patcher does not seem to work, you can try to manually patch your client by following my tutorial.

Hi everybody!

I'm creating this tutorial for those who may have issues with our patcher or who prefer to manually patch their clients.
This will teach you how to retrieve the updated content from our patch server and apply it to your client manually without the use of our patcher.

First, you will need to find two things: Local version and remote version.
Local version is the version that your client is currently at right now.
Remote version is the version of the client that you'd like to update to.

Please note, that you may have to go through several local and remote versions before you are on the latest version of the client.

For example, before our last maintenance the local version should be 208.
After the maintenance, the remote version should be 209.

Now that you've found those versions, navigate to http://mabinogi.ir/patch/local_to_remote.zip
Replace local and remote with the version numbers you found earlier.

For our example, we'll use http://mabinogi.ir/patch/208_to_209.zip
Download and save this file somewhere nearby. You'll need it.

Extract the file you downloaded directly into your Mabinogi Professional game directory (where Client.exe lives) and then overwrite any files that are already existing.

This will bring your client up to date with the version you just patched on to it.

Please note that the launcher will be unaware that you updated past your local version, but you should still be able to join the game if you use the alternative launcher.

This is already a feature.

I think the way to do this would be to turn off bitmap fonts, which is hardcoded into the client.

Ask Flipend0 if he can experiment with it.

I'm not entirely sure that the Destiny system even works....but it is true that you are able to select a Destiny when you rebirth.

Recently, since the web site has been inaccessible without using HTTPS, the Primary launcher is unable to work function properly.

If the Primary launcher is broken or not working for some reason, go to the Downloads page and try out the Alternative launcher. If your client is outdated, check out my manual patching tutorial.

The game servers are still perfectly OK and operational, there is just some technical issues on the web server which are isolated. These issues should be fixed in the next 12 hours.

We try our best to keep everything running smoothly, but sometimes in life not everything goes the way we want so bear with us.

The rewards have been modified.

This is an announcement for those near Level 100 or past level 100.

Once you surpass Level 100, your global chat will disappear. This is a bug and is because Global chat is a renamed version of Beginner chat, which was intended to be used only by beginners by Nexon.

On our server, however, we attempted to patch this to make it not disappear; that patch failed and currently the Global chat will disappear after surpassing level 100.

Please be aware that this will be fixed in the future, so do not worry! I just felt the need to let those of you who may be concerned about that know what is happening with that.

Thanks for the guide. I'm sure some players will certainly find this useful, especially for lower end computers.

This is possible, however we are not in the financial situation to purchase a new server in Europe. Maybe in the future.
