I am glad to announce that Primary MabiPro Launcher version 1.1 has been released.
Updating to version 1.1 is required to launch the game properly now, due to changes in how our backend launch system works.
This update has also broken our alternative launcher, but we will update that in the short future.
You can find the latest launcher on our downloads page by clicking here.
To update, just extract and overwrite the new files in your MabiPro installation directory.

i'm trying to move/extract the new launcher files, while running winRAR as admin, but it says access is denied to this folder.
the folder's on my desktop, but read-only for some reason. unsetting that doesn't work.

I don't think this is a problem that is within my scope.
I tried but it keeps checking for updates with the launch button being unclickable

It will show popup dialogues whenever it progresses stages, please tell me the last popup that you see.

Tendering potion is a MUST in my opinion for training WM to r1 and since we get some extra skills at rank f, people can't fully train WM in TNN since zombies stop being awful
You can reset your skills at Duncan for free if you are under level 100.

I have to ask the question, do we need a gacha and If so, why?
Because I don't think the game does, and items that are special and without craft patterns could be put into mobs, giving a reason for players to go out and explore.
Frog robes could be potentially fished up, tiger robes could drop from lions (heh)
A beholder sword could come from hobgoblins since they wield them or come from rafting at a low rate.
And so on.
But if the gacha must stay, I have a suggestion to make about it, why not replace the items and instead mix in every limited edition rebirth outfit. Those items generally have no place in the world, you could add the wigs, which really doesn't make sense for players to make themselves either. I don't like wings, but they'd make a perfect fit in the gacha as well since they're quite silly. Stuff like that.
I also had another idea that could replace gacha, dyes. Yes, we already have a dye purchase option, but you could also do a dye monthly purchase option that limits your random dyes to a specific color shades. For example, a spring time dye set could be green shaded dyes, and so on. Depending on the month, you could do red, orange, christmas themed colors, etc.
Just my two cents.

I like your idea about having seasonal dye set gachapons.

I don't think it's client sided, if somehow it is though, i could use google translate+wiki to translate everything. It's a bit slow, but the translation itself isn't a big deal honestly.

You can find the server-side content though, you just have to look for it..

Sadly, unless there's a way to mod server-sided files into my client, that won't do much good. I've been told where to find the files, but as i have no intention to host an actual server, downloading or even modding them, i don't expect to do me much good. Unless the staff accepts outside contributions.
Of course we accept outside contributions- the dab animation being a great example. We're always looking for people to help translate, you just have to get into contact with us and we can arrange to get the translations put into the server.

That is clientside so I can't really tell you. I'm not sure how they are stored.

install abyss, turn multiclient to 1
That'd certainly let you launch multiple clients - but Steam's multi-client detection is not equivalent to Mabi's multi-client detection. Steam looks for a "Client.exe" executable that is launched in a similar fashion to it's Mabinogi's own "Client.exe" executable.
You could try to rename Client.exe to a different name for MabiPro (Client2.exe) and then use a direct launch with a shortcut, as well as using Abyss to set multiclient ability to true.

You may want to be more specific - in particular - the G14S5 egoable items such as the Cutlass or Machete are a good example.
If you have all of the files, you should be able to run our launcher (MabinogiProfessional.exe) that will bring your client up to date and hopefully you should be able to start the game from there.
As for why you were missing files, it seems the self extraction process may have been failing. Do you have enough disk space? I'd suggest using WinRAR instead of the self-extractor. Just open up the EXE itself in WinRAR.
