MabiPro: The Authentic Old-School Mabinogi Experience

Hello. I'm Desta and I joined a few days ago. I've been looking for a Mabinogi server for several years and I'm pretty happy to have found one. I searched on Google and saw a Reddit thread about MabiPro. Started playing Mabinogi when it was released in NA either on Ruairi or Tarlach (I forget which since it was a while ago), but stopped after G3.

I'm experiencing the same problem.

I've yet to find her at all. ;3; Then again, 99% of my time is spent on the beaches of Cor or Qilla ranking Metallurgy. ;3;

In a private server, especially in a community the size of MabiPro, the conduct of a player will definitely impact an administrator's decisions on what said player is trying to suggest. The fact is that Raizoth's conduct has been negative in terms of their continuous spam of global regarding their request, along with their attitude towards other players. They also continuously seek to gain attention by targeting other players and insulting them on global chat. If more people who have a better reputation seek to add this item, then why not? But currently there is only one person, and that person does not deserve to see what they want implemented due to their behavior. They may have added their "reasoning" through a wall of text like the staff wanted, but that was only after leaving worthless messages and responses like, "don't let me down boys" and "i am shocked". Regardless, Drahan has already given their input and the implementation of smaller items like the one they are suggesting seem to be of a low priority anyway.

There is no Cooking Contest on MabiPro, instead there is a quest that is delivered once you hit Rank 9 in order to obtain the Rank 8 Book. This small guide is to help prepare the ingredients, methods, and percentages necessary to make the dishes for the quest.

Step 1: Talk to Fraser
Step 2: Deliver a Fried Onion [Stir Fry an Onion 47%, Garlic 40%, and Salt 13% if you want to make a 4*/5* dish. If you don't care that it's a 3* then just use Onion 55% & Garlic 45%]
Step 3: Deliver a Fried Mushroom [Stir Fry a Button Mushroom 65%, Garlic 25%, and Salt 10% for 4*/5*. Mushroom 71% and Garlic 29% for 3*]
Step 4: Deliver a Fried Chicken Wing [Deep Fry a Chicken Wing 72%, Fry Batter 24%, and Salt 4% for 4*/5*. Chicken Wing 75% and Fry Batter 25% for 3*]
Step 5: Deliver Popcorn [Stir Fry Corn 80%, Butter 15%, Salt 5%]

Onions are sold by both Shena and Glenis.
Salt is sold by both Shena and Glenis.
Garlic is sold by Glenis.
Button Mushrooms are sold by Caitin.
Chicken Wings are sold by Shena.
You have to make your own Fry Batter [Deep Fry Batter 15%, Egg 25%, and Water 60%] or get some from Red Town Rats in Ciar Advanced.
Corn can be harvested with a sickle North of Emain Macha.
Butter is sold by Shena.

You are able to rebirth every two weeks from the day your character was created/since your last rebirth. You are also able to reset your skills by talking to Duncan in Tir Chonail. However the resets only last until you reach Total Level 100. This applies to every character on your account as well. Once one character on your account reaches TL100 then you will be unable to reset. Many players rank their skills and reset repeatedly before going past TL100 so that they can just gain AP later on and rerank. Play as you want to. Don't grind so hard that you get burnt out, but if you find grinding fun then go ahead. Mabinogi has no real endgame unless you choose to make one for yourself.

In this version we have Destinies: Warrior/Archer/Alchemist/Mage - You can only gain a Destiny by Rebirthing so don't go too crazy on your first character creation. Destinies give you 2x EXP to training certain skills and that stacks with the 2x Server EXP rate giving you 4x EXP on some skills.

If you want to be efficient, I suggest creating your character, prof and upgrade equipment while trying to stay at a lower level, and work on some Life Skills until you rebirth and gain a Destiny (sadly there is no Life Skill Destiny). From there just Rank as many skills as you want to while resetting since you'll still be under TL100.
