Can you try uninstalling, then reinstalling .NET framework, making sure you're using 4.7.1: https://www.microsoft.com/net/download/dotnet-framework-runtime

fixed the problem but now when i press "start game" i get a new error..

System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: Unknown error (0xffffffff)
