May 16th of 2008. Been nearly ten years now holy crap. The fact you could equip a stick and play music you wrote is what kept me here for the longest time. I've taken unannounced breaks here and there but always seem to find myself coming back.

EDIT: W e W looks like the image broke the forums ahahaha,

As it is right now the threads listed in the forums flow together very closely. Is it possible to break them up a bit? A simple line in between each thread title would help but I'm sure there is a prettier way to do it as well.

Hello,

Inside the Mabi.Pro client folder is a file called default.reg. You can use this file to apply the default settings of Mabinogi to your system registry by double clicking it, much like running a program. There have been some cases where applying the default settings with this file has solved the same issue you are having.

Please let us know if applying the default settings resolves the issue.

Thank you,
Kohu

Are you still getting the `the graphics card in your system does not ensure proper execution of the mabinogi client` error still? And, this may be silly to ask since you shouldn't be getting this far with the error you are getting, but at which point of loading the game does everything turn black? Is it when you log into a character, at the character select screen, or at the account login screen?

Good, you can get in game at least. You're in a better position than others with the same error. Have you tried resetting the defaults values with the default.reg file? I know I'm repeating myself but I'd like to be sure I'm on the same page as you.

Try using this reg file https://mega.nz/#!PlRWxToB!l_rWvT73j7wdkxAszTQv2OlBwI82xOYc64zuF4yWRPY

It is very similar but it disables shadows entirely. I'm curious to know if disabling shadows will help.

I've also read that this issue might be solved for 4th generation Intel HD graphics drivers under windows 8.1 by reverting to an older driver version.

I'm sorry the modified reg file didn't work, but I appreciate your patience.

Just for kicks, try updating your display drivers if you haven't done so recently. You can find the drivers for your integrated graphics chipset here https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/81496/Intel-HD-Graphics-4600

This appears to be similar to your problem. So perhaps a driver from before July, 2014 will work.

The dev team is cooking up a way to make the translation process more streamlined so you shouldn't need to setup your own test server instance to contribute once the system has been setup. It'll also help us keep track of the work each individual has put forth so you can be compensated for your time and effort, as well as keeping multiple people from working on the same bits needlessly. The tool itself is still in development, but we are certainly looking forward to working with you. Thank you very much for your interest In the project!
