Rebirth is every 14 days. So on your character's second birthday (not necessarily your character's second age-up) you will be allowed to rebirth.

Absolute must for me would be labelled maps for shadow missions. Labelled maps for Iria are also nice but probably won't be missed *quite* as much.
Also related to maps, fog removal for dungeon maps (a.k.a. making it so that you see the whole map from the start like alby normal) and enabling zoom levels for maps in the original areas are great, but will require some XML editing (I could also upload my editted xml files, not sure if that's desired, or permitted.)
Basically what I did in terms of modding, was download a correctly aged version of Tiara's, install my desired mods to an empty folder, and copy everything sans 'db' into my data folder. Outdated/incompatible files in your db folder are just about the only case where you have to worry about your game crashing.

Been around for a couple weeks I guess, might as well introduce myself since I started posting around here.
I've been playing mabi off and on (some years: very on) since 2009. Just like everyone else, I saw good and bad parts in every update until eventually things just got wayy out of hand. I'll miss some cool stuff, for sure, but it's absolutely worth it to continue playing a version of the game where the balance and setting weren't killed, mutilated, thrown into the woodchipper, burned to a crisp, and scattered to the heartless sea. As a bonus, no pay2win. So that's fantastic.
Anyway as for terrible decisions: with my fresh start I've decided on pursuing a build that's always fascinated me and that I've always wanted to be, deep in my heart: giant mage. Just starting with mage alone would have been bad enough. Pray for me.
Oh, I also draw sometimes. That's kinda cool I guess.
