Literally this was me a couple of days ago...
>Be Me
>Think, "I miss Mabi. I'll give it a try again. I like Pro, but what is official like right now?"
>Steam.
>Download.
>Install.
>Cool.
>Start up on my potato laptop (which I am finally replacing... soon...)
>Twenty minutes later I can finally start the game.
>Secondary password.
>Lockpicking skill increased!
>"Why do I have all these character cards?"
>Shrug, take it as is.
>Can't create character due to new server migration.
>"OH, WELL THAT'S GREAT. I BET A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO JUST DOWNLOADED MABI LOVE THAT."
>Wait a few days.
>Servers merged.
>Cool.
>Create new character.
>The game proceeds to literally teach me how to click the damn buttons to do their obvious functions. Everything from "Click the quest window icon to open the quest window." to "Here's a non-destructible item that will blast you with pointers every two minutes because you're too new to live without Lorna and Pan doing so. Sure it only uses a 1x2 space in inventory, but we know that you won't need that space. Oh, and no, you can't drop it OR sell it either. HAVE FUN."
>I proceed to slam my head in the desk precisely 1d20 times.
>Get to see Tin.
>Combat lectures. They're boring, but hey, I jump up a bunch of levels pretty fast and get those combat skills up quickly too.
>Finally pop into Tir.
>OH GOD THE LAG.
>Oh hey, I can freely customize with premium options right now.
>BUT OH GOD WHY CAN'T I MOVE.
>WAIT. THERE'S MORE TUTORIALS?!
>Start getting blasted by a million quests for every single tutorial.
>Done.
>Uninstall.
>Go back to mabinogi.ir.
>Install MabiPro.
>Never. Again.
>Screw official.
There are a few things I prefer over this server however.
1. I like that I can go to TNN on any day I like without having to use the housing coupon method.
2. I like that Elf/Giant can do G2 for their transformations. I just am not a huge fan of their transformation questline, but then, it also feels more lore friendly than them piggybacking on G2, so it's a grey zone in my opinion.
