I developed a program that allows the user to easily change their MTU Speeds,
with the click of a button (maybe 2) so that people who were less savvy with computers
or simply lazy, could still reap the benefits of having a lowered MTU Speed without hassle..
This was originally developed for my own personal use,
but I'm releasing it here since it seems some people could actually use it..
'netsh' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file This usually happens when running Windows 7.
I'm working on a fix for this, but for now.. windows 7 does not work.
Update
Uploaded a LITE version which is significantly smaller in size but requires .Net 3.1 Core Runtime.
Why would I want to use this? To put it very simply... this can potentially lower your input lag.
Why do I have to run this in administrator mode? Changing your MTU Speeds requires an elevated command prompt..
the command required for this to work simply will do nothing without it.
I used this and now my internet is slow and/or unresponsive! If this happens after you lower your MTU Speeds,
simply raise the speeds back up until things normalize.
This caused my response time to be slower in game! Lowest doesn't always mean better.
Raise the number & try again to find the sweet spot.
Is this permanent? Only until you change the speed again.
How to Use Custom
Step I: Click on the Custom checkbox
to make the new textbox appear..
Step II: Click on the Check button on the right.
Step III:Type the Interface name of the network adapter you want to use inside the textbox.
