If you want to design some custom eyes for mabipro but don't know how, then look no further!
I will explain step by step what you will need and include files for easy editing as well, I will also explain how you can test out the eyes in the game.
To start out, if you have a program you're comfortable drawing in, you can simply use that.
You will need Paint.net for exporting your png file to a .dds later on. (You can use these programs to draw in as well if you wish)
https://www.getpaint.net
You will need a plugin to save files into dds for paint.net

All eye files are 64x32 pixels, I will include an example here, you can use this to import into your drawing program and use this as a reference if you need/want.

Make sure that when you draw the eyes not to use any transparent pixels! Otherwise this will result in extremely blurry/muddy looking textures.
Do note that all current eyes on live mabi are x2 the size, so it's best to just create your own eyes or use the live versions as inspiration to make your own, sizing them down will just result in a lot of pixel loss and blurry pixels.
Once you have created some custom eyes you will want to test them out to make sure they look alright in the game,
my recommendation is to edit the original file with all the eyes on it.
Here is what the full file looks like with all the eyes in the MabiPro data folder:

I have also made a little raster which should serve as a help line, so you know where to exactly place your eyes. Just put the Help_lines.png as another layer on top of the eye.png file to help you see exactly where to place the eyes.

You can edit this in your choice editing/drawing program, just delete the first eyes and paste your custom eyes on it.
Once you have done that, save the file and open it in either GIMP or Paint.net, in here all you need to do is export it as a .DDS file.
! Make sure you save the file format as export preset: B8G8R8A8 (Linear, A8R8G8B8) in Paint.Net ! else you end up with really weird blended textures in the game
Name it eye.dds and place it in your MabiPro data folder: MabiPro\data\material\char\face\eye.dds
If you don't have these folder don't worry, just create the folders and paste in the eye.dds, this will work too.
After you've done this, boot up your MabiPro and press new character, here you can preview your creation easily.
I have also made a tutorial on custom mouths right here: https://mabi.pro/thread/4769
