Hello. I know that this is a very old post, but since it still comes up as the first hit in search engines when looking up info on MabiPro for Linux, I thought it'd be useful to mention that it does work on Linux now. The installer gave me a little bit of trouble via Lutris, but the game itself didn't take much. While I don't know the actual minimums to get it running, I wanted to post what I ran it under in case people are still trying without success.
For the installer, I used Bottles since Lutris just wasn't running it. I just used an existing Bottle, which is a Win64 bottle running GE-Proton 10-28 with the following software installed: Windows Desktop Runtime 6.0.36 + 8.0.16, Wine Gecko 2.47.4 (32 and 64-bit), Wine Mono 10.0, Wine Mono Windows Support 10.0 + 10.4, and a bunch of fonts (notably Tahoma and Corefonts).
After installing the files, I just pointed at the install location with a prefix handled by Lutris. GE-Proton 10-34. Not a lot of software installed here, just Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable 14.0.24212 (32 and 64-bit), Wine Mono Windows Support 10.4.1, and the same fonts as above. Set the executable to MabiProLauncher22.exe, everything else at defaults.
I haven't thoroughly tested that everything works, but Kanan and AstralWorld patcher both seem to work, and I walked around a bit without any issues. Being installed via a different Wine instance than the one running it doesn't appear to have caused any issues. You probably don't need exactly the above, but maybe that'll help people narrow down issues in the future if they can't get it running.
