There are multiple instances where the same NPC is described with the same pronunciation of their name but different texts, and there are related issues with the "Find Ideal Type" quest in the G2 storyline.
【It is suggested to change this task to "You can obtain the task item after asking". Although it is quite interesting to guess the target based on the clues given by NPCs, those parts that require finding "eligible players" are really difficult to complete when hair styles and colors cannot be freely changed and the number of online players is insufficient.】

For example, NPC Trefor's Ideal Type is Dilys/Dilis. The former is the NPC's name, while the latter is how NPC Trefor refers to that NPC. However, no matter which name I enter, I am unable to complete the related tasks for that character.

I'm surprised that these bugs are still present. Has no one ever attempted the G2 task on this server since its launch?
【Oh, I suddenly realized that G2 doesn't have any substantial rewards except for Paladin ability, so it's no wonder... But actually, the plot arrangement of G2 and obtaining Paladin ability are well coordinated, which can be considered as the highlight of the player character's plot. Skipping G2 is quite a pity.】

Furthermore, the system usage during MabiPro's runtime is quite abnormal. Is there any special mod in the client? I'm starting to feel suspicious……

There are three kinds of translation:
1 - Machine Translation [Pre-AI "Google Translate", "Baidu Translate" ,etc..Heuristic pattern translation - what has been around for common computer translation for a long long time.
2 - Human Translation
3 - LLM/AI translation

A large majority of our content was translated with a combination of machine translation and human translation before LLM translation was a possibility back in 2017.

AI would do it better and with less errors today. We should re-translate all of this old content with AI, and your problem would be solved.
Your criticism is not with AI, your criticism is with tired humans translating thousands of lines of text in a file with very little game context. It's something a modern LLM would do in one-shot with very low errors.

But if you are concerned with the use of AI specifically - then, the convincing evidence of us not using AI to translate is, well, 2017.

As for MabiPro's runtime - our client is both modified through native ASM edits + a runtime patcher (you can find it in Bexon.dll). There is nothing obfuscated in our additions to the game - you are free to disassemble it and check it out. It is an advanced memory patcher similar to Kanan and other mods, but it patches both our server and client to add features such as custom skills.
