How do you get pets?

Hey, I'm a new user here and I'm trying to get started on G1, I'm currently on delivering the bear some mana herbs to get the keyword Tarlach but I don't have any. So my solution was to just make an herb pig but I'm not certain how we can create new pets. Can anyone help?

Every time you fight mobs they have a chance to drop red fomorian coins. You use those red fomorian coins to purchase a pet whistle from Shylla.

Just run alby a few times, they drop in the end chest.
