Hi there,

both the launcher and the manual download produce a corrupted zip file and the patch fails.

Is it broken on my end or is the file on your webserver broken?

I'll point out i too have issues getting files from the server. Manual update is more reliable for me, so not only can i control the speed, but if it's interrupted i can just resume. I would recommend testing on different browsers, or even getting a download manager.

I just downloaded the most recent update and manually patched, so i can also confirm it works and i am in game atm.

Works fine for me too. +1 on Drahan adding the message when the update files are already existing

Tried it through the launcher, firefox, chrome, JDownloader... downloads 99% and then fails. My phone finally managed it, turns out my antivir just immediately obliterates pleione.dll, even while zipped.
wth did you do to that file?
Virustotal runs only 2/58, one of which is ESET, which is also the one I use. Bkav reports a keylogger.
I mean... ugh... it's clean, right? You wouldn't lie to me... right?

It's Themida packed (Nexon did this, not us).

Bkav reports it as "W32.HfsAutoB.50B3", which doesn't mean keylogger, it means that it's packed.
ESET NOD32 reports it as "a variant of Win32/Packed.Themida suspicious"...because...well, it's Themida packed..

The latest version of Mabinogi is also Themida (a more updated Themida) packed however they exclude Pleione.DLL and embed it into Client.exe which also has false positives.

The game is packed in order to make it harder to reverse engineer.

You can add exceptions in ESET to have it ignore the installation folder for Mabi Pro, which is what I did. After disabling it to let it do the initial patching it works fine now. Patch for the Watermelon event downloaded no problems with it enabled.
