Many of you question whether or not you should turn off Nagle's Algorithm, why you should do it, and what effects it really has.

This post is to demonstrate the difference between your gameplay with Nagle's Algorithm enabled and disabled.

Enabled

Disabled

These tests are performed with 0ms latency to a local test server on the same computer as the client.

As you can see by those video demonstrations, it really really is worth it to disable Nagle's Algorithm as it has detrimental effects on your game play.

Have fun and enjoy your time on MabiPro!

The video links no longer work. I'd be interested to see your findings. I'm in Maryland and get like less than 20ms response times but would love to see how it could theoretically improve

Recently came back how do you even get this to work?

Can't remember but was there a file you suppose to download and put in mabi directory?

disabling nagle is done in your registry editor. If you want more information, check the link. If you just want to denagle quickly, simply google 'how to denagle' and avoid YouTube because those old ass videos are cringy af.

Isn't Nagle normally disabled on new computers anyway?
