In my free time, I mainly just debug on the GameServer to see if I can find something interesting, or if I can create something
The things I create used to be private, but once MabiPro became a thing I started adjusting some stuff for the public use.

If I get bored of the GameServer I would occasionally watch Youtube videos, teach to our content team, play a different game, or look into CrackMes

I starting doing a lot of CrackMes back in the early days, in which the experience gives me the position of where I am now as a reverse engineer for this game on both the Client side and the Server side.

Sometimes, I'll play & reverse engineer different games when I get extremely bored. These are usually the "Flavor of the week" games for me .
Currently, I am playing "AuditionPVS" . Which is a Thailand Private Server of Audition Online. My main enemy right now is XTRAP, in which I've successfully bypassed in Closers Online Private server client. But this version seems to take a little bit more effort. The executable is also packed in, which does not help at all. My simple goal is to make it not load XTRAP at all, since it's a private server, it is probably not needed as I've witness in Closers Online Private server.

The content team will usually ask me questions regarding on the server and it's capabilities, in which if possible. I can teach them my experiences and findings.
For the entire GM team, I am a jack of all trades. I know how to create dungeons, shadow missions, items, textures, designs, etc. You name the function, I know it. But I can only know it on a purely basic bare-bones level. Once I teach them how it works, it's all up to them to be creative. I've taught many things to Jade and she has went as far as to making an entire questline for MabiPro, and there are more very interesting things coming soon in the content team. There's even someone that came in and dominated me in terms of coding experience and custom creations, she frightens me.


I don't really have a favorite food, because I mainly enjoy almost everything I eat.
It would be much easier to ask what food I don't like instead, and unfortunately, that would be any kind of Seafood.
I also do not like Cucumbers and Raw Onions. The Onions must be grilled.

I don't really watch a lot of Anime due to major time constraints. However should there be an anime that I am interested in, I will find time to watch it whenever possible. I do have a favorite author who goes by the name of key, whom created Little Buster, Angel Beats, Air and Clannad .
I mainly enjoy anime that deals with drama based on complex situations, and how they are solved.

There is also an anime that I would love to watch, but does not exist as of yet, that would involve a young disabled protagonist going into special education with other kids with disabilities, showing mental behavior problems and aggressive actions that you would normally not see anywhere else. The issue is Nippon's way of dealing with disabilities has a different enviroment then how it's dealt with in the United States, and I believe because of that it is most likely that this anime with the detailed settings is a long shot away from becoming true.

I don't plan to have kids.

Why you got some many Characters Flipend0?
Some of those characters were mainly for testing situations. MPHACKER was one of my most interesting testes . MPHACKER is blackrobed due to carrying 6x bags that has 240+ slots each with MP 100 Potions with a quantity of MAX_SHORT.

Not sure how much you can go into detail but I'm actually curious about this.

How hard is it to make new assets for the game? (models, textures, animations, etc.) Being an artist myself I love messing around with that stuff in games and making my own to put in them.

So currently Mabinogi uses it's own model system called .PMG (rumor to be labeled as Pleione Media Group)
Most of the structure has been debunked, but not all of them as it requires a heavy amount of reverse engineering. Public tools that exist has faulty code on creating PMGs and was coded by foreign users back in 2009, for this reasoning we do not plan to use these public tools. Instead what we're trying to do is create our own tool, one that documents everything for the PMG structure and have some import system where you can use Blender to create the model, then import it to PMG. We plan to make this tool to the public and open sourced in the future so 3D model makers can have fun creating their own stuff, and maybe it will even be possible to even create new monsters in the game (currently, the public PMG editor can only edit Humanoid frameworks). You'll be able to create your own animations on the PMG tool too I believe. Textures are really simple. The texture file string must be linked inside the PMG and I believe it has their own IVs for positioning, like most directx games the texture must be created in DDS format, once that's created you just have to define it on an .xml file and select which rendering style do you want to use (for example, Normal, Alpha Blend, Transparency, cool stuff like that) and you're pretty much done for textures, all that's left to do is define the mesh on your new item in the item database.

Another question related to the game, how does the different body sizes for different ages work? Is just one body model that's scaled up/down or does each age have a different models?

Don't know if it's been mentioned before, but what are the limitations on the types of pets available on this server? Are new pets going to be added or just the popular useful ones
