I just want to preface this with the fact I'm not entirely knowledgeable as far as computers go tbh:

last night was my first time ever playing mabinogi.
I went through the steps of implementing leatrix and lowering the MTU value on my machine; but, I still feel like the game is "laggy."

I've pinged the server (I'm located in new york) and it's about ~14 ms, assuming I am even doing it correctly.

pathing to monsters to auto-attack (needing to click multiple times, regardless of ctrl being pressed) causes a stutter more often than not, and my character actually only attacks after walking up like half the time (usually just walks up and stands there).

I'm not sure what the gameplay is supposed to actually feel/look like, so I'm really not sure. if someone could provide an accurate representation as to what the combat *should* look like via video link or something I would appreciate it - any other suggestions would also be appreciated.
I really wanted to get into the game and hope my adventure doesn't end prematurely.

Disable Nagle's algorithm, and play on a wired network.

Additionally, to ping the server you must figure out first what node you are connected to. You can do this ingame by typing >server. It will tell you Eins, Zwei, or Drei.

After you determine your node, you can ping the node by pinging eins.mabi.pro, zwei.mabi.pro, or drei.mabi.pro respectively.
