MabiPro: The Authentic Old-School Mabinogi Experience

Okay so my question is:
What's the point on playing on a 2x server when on global you can easily get 4x to 6x skill progression?
Why play on nerfed rates?

Well. It's really easy. The majority of our community perfers a more challenging type of game. There's not much else I can say. After all we are considered "old school" server.

A private server does not essentially mean major buffs.

it's not nerfed, the live mabinogi is just a mess now, imo the rates are 2x higher than they should be on this server

My question is, why would you want to play on the main server when it's all about afk, face-tanking, and pay to win now?
Personally, i prefer players be required to make some effort, to get some growth on their character. Makes it mean something going into higher end content. Live mabi you can basically face tank, pay for absurd reforges that can give you over 10x your normal dmg, aoe pets to just keep everything stun locked, and of course skill training means nothing anymore between skill training seals, destinies, training pots, increased xp rate pots, and all that junk. Effort just means more on this server, and i like it that way, that's part of the main reason i joined mabi in the first place.
